PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium container which can prevent a container main body on the upper stage being mounted on game media from sliding when the plurality of game medium containers are stacked, can prevent the game medium containers from sliding down, and in addition, can easily slide the stacked position of the game medium containers from the rear side, and can properly position the game medium containers under an optimal state when they are stacked. SOLUTION: This game medium container has the box-shape game container main body 10a of which the upper surface is open. On the external wall side 11a of the bottom surface section 11 of the container main body 10a, a rib 31 which vertically hangs within a range not exceeding the height of a grounding seat 21, and extends into a thin belt shape is formed at a position being independently isolated from the founding seat 21 which is projected downward along the peripheral edge of the external wall side 11a. When the container main bodies 10a are stacked in the vertical direction, the uppermost layer of the game media housed in the container main body 10a on the lower stage are made to face the rib 31 of the container main body 10a on the upper stage under a state that the game media pinch the rib 31 from both sides over the total length. At the same time, the rib 31 is arranged at a predetermined aspect so that the rib 31 and the grounding seat 21 may closely join to each other within a closed space communicating over the total internal periphery of the grounding seat 21 between the rib 31 and the grounding seat 21.
