PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band-saw cutting device and cutting method for nuclear equipment remotely performing replacement of a band saw. SOLUTION: The band-saw cutting device 1 for nuclear equipment comprises: a turntable 3 for placing and rotating nuclear equipment 2 that is a member to be machined; a band saw unit 10 for cutting the nuclear equipment 2 placed on the turntable 3 by a band saw 11; a lifting truck 6 detachably mounting the band saw unit 10; and a vertical column 4 set near the nuclear equipment 2 with the lifting truck 6 being attached to be liftable.
