PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a radiation image conversion panel for improving photostimulated emission quantity greatly. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the radiation image conversion panel 1 comprises a process for dipping a phosphor panel 4 in which a stimulable phosphor layer 3 is formed on a prescribed substrate 2 by a vapor deposition method into a halogenation agent; and a process for heating the phosphor panel 4 at 60-200°C under an atmosphere of vacuum, air, or inert gas after the dipping process.
