<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To load a sheet-like material on a predetermined loading device without crossing a front plate and use only one driving source to simplify a structure, reduce manufacturing cost, and reduce worker's burden. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet-like material guiding device is provided with a switching means for switching into a first condition in which a paper P held in a paper delivery claw 5 and conveyed is abutted on the front plate 11 and is loaded and a second condition for letting the front plate 11 pass through. This sheet-like material guiding means 36 advances onto an upper side of the front plate 11 and an upward side of the loading device in the second condition. An auxiliary plate 37 is provided with a cam member 45 integrally and is turnably supported centered on a shaft 47, and a hitting part 37a is positioned at an evacuation position below the front plate 11 due to self-weight. When switching into the first condition and moving the sheet-like material guiding means 36 in A direction, an engaging part 36a is engaged with a second cam face 45b of the cam member 45.
