<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition and a color filter excellent in hue (color reproducibility), light and heat fastness. <P>SOLUTION: The curable composition contains a compound represented by formula (M1) wherein Z<SP>M1</SP>denotes an electron withdrawing group whose Hammett's substituent constant σ<SB>p</SB>is ≥0.20; B<SP>1</SP>and B<SP>2</SP>each denote CR<SP>M1</SP>, CR<SP>M2</SP>or N; Z<SP>M2</SP>, R<SP>M1</SP>and R<SP>M2</SP>each denote H, halogen, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, cyano, carboxyl, carbamoyl or the like; R<SP>M3</SP>and R<SP>M4</SP>each denote H, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, acyl or the like; R<SP>M5</SP>and R<SP>M6</SP>each denote H, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, acyl or the like (R<SP>M5</SP>and R<SP>M6</SP>are not simultaneously H); and Q<SP>M</SP>denotes a monocyclic 5-membered heterocyclic group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
