PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which hardly causes phenomena of offset and wrap around in a wide temperature range, i.e., is excellent in fixing characteristics, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains a binder resin and a colorant, wherein an amount of relaxation enthalpy (ΔH) of the toner is≥2 mJ/mg, and in the method for manufacturing the electrostatic charge image developing toner, the toner is subjected to heat treatment in such a manner that the amount of relaxation enthalpy (ΔH) of the toner becomes≥2 mJ/mg.
