PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for storing cut flowers for a long period without deteriorating the freshness of the cut flowers, in order to enable the production of the cut flowers in an easy cultivation season and the systematic shipment of the cut flowers in a season having a high marketability, while solving a problem that a method for storing cut flowers with a refrigerator using electric power has been utilized for storing the cut flowers only in a short period, because ethylene and carbon dioxide are generated to deteriorate the freshness of the cut flowers. SOLUTION: A snow chamber having excellent storage characteristics such as storage temperature and storage humidity is utilized. Thereby, the cut flowers can be stored over a long period of 4 weeks or more, and the method enables the production of the cut flowers in an easy cultivation season and the systematic shipment of the cut flowers in a season having a demand season and the like.
