<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which embeds watermark data for enhancing security of image data in the image data, while suppressing deterioration in the image quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of changing contents of image processing of an image processing part 65, which performs various kinds of image processing and the operation mode of a watermark-embedding part 66 according to contents of the decoded image data to be the watermark-embedding object, performing image processing of the image processing contents after change by the image processing part 65, embedding the watermark data in the image data to which the image processing is performed in an operation mode, after change by the watermark embedding part 66, and transmitting the image data to equipment, such as personal computers PC1, PC2 via a network NW, when the contents of the decoded image data for embedding the watermark are applicable to preset prescribed conditions, the MFP embeds the watermark data in an image area (such as white background area) in which image information is less than predetermined amount among images to be the watermark-embedding object at the watermark-embedding part 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
