<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more safely manage an original of a computerized important document. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic original management device is installed besides a computer environment for a user, and an electronic document is registered as an electronic original. The electronic original management device, on accepting a request for registering electronic information as original information, adds, to the electronic information, original grouping identification information for uniquely identifying an original grouping and type attribute information representing that the electronic information is an original, and registers them.
