<p>Use of m-phenylene diamine (I) and/or their salts (II) in agents for oxidative hair treatment. Use of m-phenylene diamine of formula (I) and/or their salts of formula (II) in agents for oxidative hair treatment. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method for the durable hair shaping comprising: either bringing the hair before and/or after into the desired form, treating with a keratin reduced shaping agent, optionally rinsing, subsequently oxidative post treating with a fixing agent and optionally rinsing again, where is used as fixing agent; and (2) treating the hair first with keratin reduced shaping agent, optionally rinsing the shaping agent after the induction period, subsequently treating (prefixation) the hair with (I) for oxidative hair treatment and then subsequently post treating (post fixation) with a fixing agent based on hydrogen peroxide or bromate.
