An agricultural-chemical preparation in which the release of an agricultural-chemical active ingredient can be controlled. The agricultural-chemical preparation is characterized by comprising a composition comprising an agricultural-chemical active ingredient, either a styrene/maleic anhydride copolymer or a mixture thereof with a polymer having repeating units derived from rosin, a rosin derivative, salicylic acid, or a salicyclic acid derivative, and a release control agent (water-soluble polymer, silicon oxide, or surfactant), the composition being in a compatibilized state or in the form of a matrix.
