PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network connecting repeater capable of connecting a communication terminal having a PPP connection function to an IP network having an Ethernet (R) interface through a serial cable. SOLUTION: The network connecting repeater 102 relays communication at the time of communicably connecting an automatic vending machine 101 having the PPP connection function and capable of being connected with the IP network by PPP via a modem using the serial cable 104 to a center PC 103 connected to a LAN through the Ethernet (R) 105.
