<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a apparatus for detecting communication abnormality capable of specifying the abnormality portion/cause of a signal line which connects an information request part and an information response part so as to enable digital bidirectional communication. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU 20 and a load sensor 14 are mutually connected via a signal line 21 so as to perform digital bidirectional communication. When the load sensor 14 receives an information request signal transmitted from a CPU 13 in the ECU 20, the load sensor 14 transmits a load information signal to first to fourth receiving ports 31a to 31d of the CPU 31. The CPU 31 in the ECU 20 receives the information request signal, transmitted to the load sensor 14 from the first to fourth receiving ports 31a to 31d. When all the information request signals, received from the first to fourth receiving ports 31a to 31d are fixed on a high (H) level, the CPU 31 decides on the short circuiting abnormality between the signal line 21 and a power supply system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
