<p>An electric power supply device (1) for long slide is adopted to prevent sagging, bending, etc. of wire harness, ensuring smooth and reliable slide operation during the movement of a long slide-type slide structure body. The electric power supply device (1) has a case (2) for receiving wire harness (3) folded in a substantially letter-U shape, a slider (6) slidably engaged to the case while holding the movement side of the wire harness, a pulley (4) pivotally engaged with the inner surface of a turn-round section (3b) of the wire harness, and a compression spring (7) for urging the pulley in the opposite direction to the turn-round direction of the wire harness. The pulley (4) is pivotally connected to a support block (27), the support block is slidably engaged with the case (2), and the compression spring (7) is caused to be in elastic contact with the support block. A support rod (36) is inserted in one side of the compression spring (7), and the other side of the coil spring is received between a pair of guide walls (37), and the support rod is advanced between the guide walls when the compression spring is most compressed.</p> |
