PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printing result in which a user can surely confirm ex post facto renewal date information on data to be printed by surely obtaining the renewal date information by an obtaining procedure on the optimum renewal date information even when the data are received by various data transfer protocols from an information processing apparatus.

SOLUTION: The renewal date information is obtained among the data received through a network from a host computer 101 through a host I/F part 302 by a different procedure, and a CPU 309 controls the printing outputs on the renewal date information obtained and the data.
