<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing medium holding device to be mounted on a vehicle capable of assuring safety when the vehicle is running. <P>SOLUTION: The storing medium holding device 100 is installed on the vehicle in such a way as allowing the driver/passenger to put in and take out a storing medium 50 and performs writing and reading the data into/from the storing medium 50, wherein the arrangement includes a holding element 30b installed in the cabin, having an insert hole 30a for insertion of the storing medium 50, and holding the inserted medium 50 removably, a running sensing means 20 to sense whether the vehicle is in the running condition or not, and a put-in/out prohibiting means 60 connected electrically with the sensing the put-in/out operation prohibiting means 20 of the medium 50 to/from the holding element 30b when the sensing means 20 is sensing the vehicle being in the running condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
