PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve drive control device for suppressing the temperature rise of a solenoid valve with power supply to the solenoid valve, and to provide an air type massage device incorporating the solenoid valve drive control device. SOLUTION: The solenoid valve control device 17 is provided for changing over the solenoid valve 16 between an open condition and a closed condition. After power is supplied to the solenoid valve 16 at preset voltage for changing over the solenoid valve 16 into the open/closed condition, power is continuously supplied to the solenoid valve 16 at voltage lower than the preset voltage to hold it in the changing-over state.
