<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can make fixed form printing implemented or non-implemented correspondingly to a cutting form of printing slips to be printed without the need of changing setting of implementation and non-implementation of fixed form printing, and to provide a printing method of fixed form printing, and a POS (point of sale) terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: A logo printing implementation determining part 38 judges whether or not a sheet cutting command sent from a host apparatus 20 is a function C (step S3). In the case of the function C, fixed form printing is not implemented, and a "receipt head" flag is released (step S5). In the case of other than the function C, whether or not printing of a bottom logo is set to implementation is judged (step S6). If it is set to implementation, printing of the bottom logo (step S7) and cutting of the paper (step S8) are carried out, and the "receipt head" flag is set (step S9).
