<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a lithographic printing plate by which a high quality lithographic printing plate can be made. <P>SOLUTION: The method for making a lithographic printing plate includes a developing step of rubbing a recording surface of a lithographic printing original plate 104 having an image recording layer on a support after imagewise exposure with a rubbing member 112 in the presence of a developer 107 in a development processing section with the rubbing member 112 to remove the image recording layer in an unexposed area, wherein a developer of pH 2-10 is used as the developer 107. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
