PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image of high resolution in a digital camera system of an interchangeable lens system. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus has a solid-state imaging device provided with a photoelectric conversion device 201 converting incident light into an electric signal in accordance with a light volume, a micro lens 209 arranged on an incident face, an optical waveguide 203 disposed between the photoelectric conversion device and the micro lens and an interlayer insulating layer 208 disposed at a periphery of the waveguide 203.
