PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform shaping circuit that is a simple circuit without using a transformer, raises a voltage of a low-voltage power supply (3), and at the same time, creates an arbitrary output voltage waveform from a DC waveform. SOLUTION: An inductor (4) and a series charging switching element (5) are switch-controlled, a capacitor (7) is charged by a back electromotive force generated at the inductor (4), a discharging resistor (8) and a series discharging switching element (9) are switch-controlled, and the charge of the capacitor (7) is discharged. A power supply voltage is raised by controlling switching times of the charging switching element (5) and the discharging switching element (9), and a charging voltage that can determine the envelope line of the voltage rise can be generated, whereby the output voltage of a desired output voltage waveform can be obtained from the charging voltage.
