<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a stabilization control system for color shift and to stabilize the color shift optimally. <P>SOLUTION: Control is carried out not only once for compensation of the color shift for a color shift value detected by a registration detection sensor but the color shift due to the lapse of time until the next color detection is predicted and control is carried out in steps to compensate two or more color shifts for the predicted color shift value so that the color shift due to the lapse of time is made minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
