<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of polishing ionic organic crystal, and the ionic organic crystal polished by the method of polishing the ionic organic crystal having excellent flatness with no characteristic degradation of the ionic organic crystal which is a polished material in a precision polishing method of a soft fragile material such as an ionic organic nonlinear optical material in a method of polishing an optical material used as a nonlinear optical material. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of polishing the ionic organic crystal used as the polished material, with a polishing pad having a polishing surface, and a polishing fluid, the polishing fluid with particles dispersed in a nonaqueous solvent in which the ionic organic crystal is hard to dissolve, is used in the method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
