PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal which can perform a telephone conversation by constituting a telephone conversation network between a plurality of IP telephone terminals, etc. without using a concentration system (relay exchange), such as a software switch, etc. and to provide a communicating method and a communication program. SOLUTION: The telephone conversation method includes the steps of inputting a telephone number of a telephone conversation destination terminal, reading the state of the telephone conversation destination terminal by a shared memory, determining whether telephone conversation processing is performed based on the state of the read telephone conversation terminal, reading the IP address based on the telephone number of the telephone conversation destination terminal when it determines that the telephone conversation process with the telephone conversation destination terminal is performed, identifying the telephone conversation destination terminal by using the read IP address, and performing the telephone conversation process between the telephone conversation destination terminal and the own terminal.
