A new infusion product (A) comprises 1-30 g herb and/or vegetable particles (I) and 1-30 g water-soluble or fusible flavorings (II) packaged in an infusion container of sieve material having mesh width less than 2 mm, where (a) (II) are one or more of salt, sugar, monosodium glutamate, 5'-nucleotides, yeast hydrolyzates and/or vegetable hydrolyzates, in the form of granules, pellets, agglomerates, extrudates, cubes or compacted bodies of size greater than the sieve mesh width and (b) (I) have size greater than the sieve mesh width. |
