<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a program load without a large amount of storage capacity. <P>SOLUTION: When an authentication device 1 receives a distribution request from a portable telephone 2, a two-dimensional code is generated in the authentication device 1, and the generated two-dimensional code is transmitted to the portable telephone 2 of the distribution request source. The two-dimensional code is then displayed on the display unit of the portable telephone 2. By holding the display unit of the portable telephone 2 having the displayed two-dimensional code to the code reader of a store terminal unit 3, the two-dimensional code is transmitted from the terminal unit 3 to the authentication device 1.
