<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector which monitors that leakage and/or short circuit has occurred in a cable within a building during a building work period. <P>SOLUTION: The leakage detector includes a converter, a clip 32 for connection which applies DC voltage outputted from the converter to the cable within the building, being connected to the cable 22 which is not connected to a commercial power source though it is wired into the building, a clip 33 for grounding which is connected to an iron core 34 grounded to the ground, a current detecting circuit 36 which detects a current flowing between clip 32 for connection and the clip 33 for grounding, and a buzzer which informs the worker of it when the current is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
