PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude a frost removing control due to a momentary foot-defrost mode. SOLUTION: The DEF mode in which the air is chiefly blown out to a front window glass from a DEF opening, is set by a front DEF switch solely devoted thereto. The F/D mode in which the wind is blown out to the front window glass and the area around the feet of the driver etc. approximately in the same quantity from the DEF opening and the FOOT opening, works together with the other blowout mode FACE, B/L, FOOT with the changing-over takes place at each operation of a blowout mode switch one by one in the predetermined sequence. When the F/D mode is selected, the air-conditioning control due to F/D mode and the blowout mode indication are not made for the specified time , approximately one second. When therefore, the desired mode other than the F/D mode is wished to be selected, no control in the F/D mode which is unnecessary will be made even if the operating procedure must go through the F/D mode inevitably, nor momentary change in the indication will take place.
