<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the concentrations of Sb and Sn in molten Pb at a low cost with high precision by a dry process. <P>SOLUTION: A metal Cu-containing substance is added to an Sb or Sn-containing molten Pb, and the produced Sb-containing dross or Sn-containing dross is recovered. Particularly, in the case the content of Sb is reduced, a method where a metal Cu-containing substance is added to an Sb-containing molten Pb, Cu and Sb in the molten Pb are reacted in the temperature range of at least <700°C, preferably <600°C, and the produced Sb-containing dross is recovered can be suitably adopted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
