<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact current sensor capable of being easily mounted and heightening its output voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The current sensor is equipped with an air core coil 1 surrounding a conducting wire in which object current to be measured flows, such that the conducting wire passes through the center of the air core coil 1; and a current detecting section which detects a current value by integrating values of voltage generated across both ends of the air core coil 1. The air core coil 1 is configured like an approximately rectangular plate made of an insulating material, and comprises; a substrate 10 which is flexible in its bending direction along two side faces opposite to each other; a conductive thin film 11 which is formed spirally at approximately same pitches around the substrate 10 from the vicinity of one end up to the vicinity of the other end of the substrate 10 along the bending direction; output lines 12, 12 which are connected electrically to both end sections 11a, 11b of the conductive thin film 11, respectively; and a holding means which brings the substrate 10 to bend in the bending direction and holds it in such a cylindrical form state that both end faces of the substrate 10 are bonded to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
