PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meat slicer capable of neatly and effectively cutting off soft raw meat or meat with plenty of strings and skin in particular, with little looseness in moving a meat box and little vibration and noise from the meat slicer, hardly allowing meat waste or the like to get into a driving part to hardly cause operation trouble and sanitary problems such as breeding of various germs and occurrence of malodor, and facilitating the supply of block meat of raw material into the meat box. SOLUTION: The meat box B is supported in a horizontally reciprocating and swingable manner around a swing shaft 2 extending in a vertical direction, and the front end face B' on the opposite side to the swing shaft, of the meat box is formed into a circular arc face centering on the axis of the swing shaft. A contact plate 12 for regulating slice thickness is provided facing the front end face of the meat box, and a band knife 20 traveling in a vertical direction is provided corresponding to the front end face position of the meat box located at a swing starting end.
