PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for prevention of excess heating and cooling an area to be protected from necrosis in the case of thermotherapy for heating and necrotizing the affected area by using a laser, microwave, RF (radio-frequency) wave, ultrasonic wave, Joule-Thomson effect, and the like, or cryotherapy for cooling and necrotizing the affected area by using Joule-Thomson effect and a refrigerant. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with an apparatus 110 for thermotherapy or cryotherapy, and additionally, a heat insulation agent 201 and an apparatus 120 for injecting this agent. After a heat insulation 201 is thereby injected on ahead, thermotherapy or cryotherapy is done, and so the risk of necrotizing up to the area 131 which should be protected is positively reduced.
