<p>Air from a regenerative dryer (20) is fed (15a, 15b) alternately to drying vessels (12a, 12b) containing the bulk material and then recycled. The air temperature is adjusted by controllers (35a, 35b) by means of heaters (11a, 11b) and the flow rate by controllers (34a, 34b) through a variable speed fan (14a, 14b).
