PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menu operation method for improving the operation efficiency of a hierarchical menu constituted of a plurality of setting menus and to provide a menu operation device and a picture processor using it. SOLUTION: When a copy key for giving an instruction for continuously performing a next copy operation is pressed by using a previously setting value in a processing termination screen, the previously setting value is set to be a parameter value and a system moves to a last setting screen out of a plurality of setting screens. When an initialization key for giving the instruction to perform the copy operation by using an initial value is depressed in the initial setting screen, the initial value is set to be the parameter value and the system shifts to a processing start picture. Thus, the previously value or the initial value can be set to individual parameters even if the setting menus of the hierarchical menu are not operated. |
