A floor plate (15) is tiltably supported at its front side by the front side of a revolving frame (5) through a floor plate support mechanism (21), and a tilting mechanism (30) for tilting the floor plate (15) is installed between the floor plate (15) and the revolving frame (5). Further, the tilting mechanism (30) comprises a guide rail (33) swingably connected to the revolving frame (5), a threaded shaft (34) rotatably attached to the guide rail (33), and a traveling member (35) threadedly fitted to the threaded shaft (34) and connected to the floor plate (15). Therefore, the tilting mechanism (30) is capable of tilting the floor plate (15) and a cab (29) by rotationally driving the threaded shaft (34) to move the traveling member (35). Further, the tilting mechanism (30) is capable of fixing the floor plate (15) and cab (29) in their tilted position.
