PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin clutch type manual transmission capable of constituting a parking mechanism without using exclusively-used gear and lock mechanism, and allowing to forget about a restriction on a space caused by adding exclusive components. SOLUTION: In this twin clutch-type manual transmission comprising a first input shaft 5 and a second input shaft 5 to which the rotation of an engine is selectively input through each of clutches C1, C2, having a reverse idler gear 21 mounted on a shaft 22 slidably in the axial direction, and capable of properly selecting an engagement position and a neutral position to a backward movement gear set GR, the reverse idler gear 21 is slidable also to a side opposite to the engagement position, from the neutral position, and male and female fitting parts 37 fitted to each other when the reverse idler gear is axially slid and moved, are formed on axial end faces opposite to each other, of the reverse idler gear and an input gear 23 of any speed stage adjacent to the backward movement input gear 19.
