PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift fork of a manual transmission or a twin clutch type manual transmission free from uneven abrasion of an engagement piece gripping a coupling sleeve. SOLUTION: In this shift fork 1 for axially displacing the coupling sleeve 2 by being engaged with an outer peripheral groove 3 of the coupling sleeve 2 constituting a synchronous engagement mechanism of the manual transmission, a part of the shift fork 1 engaged with the outer peripheral groove 3 of the coupling sleeve is constituted by an engagement piece 5 independent from a main body of the shift fork, the engagement piece 5 has the shape having planes 5a, 5b kept into contact with both side walls 3a, 3b of the outer peripheral groove 3, and the engagement piece 5 is journaled to the main body 4 of the shift fork to be rotated around the radial direction of the coupling sleeve 2.
