PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a louver angle control device for an electric vertical blind capable of controlling the rotation angle of a louver according to solar incidence. SOLUTION: The louver angle control device for the electric vertical blind outputting a control signal for controlling the rotation angle of the louver of the electric vertical blind, is provided with an azimuth angle information acquisition means 40 acquiring azimuth information showing solar azimuth to the mounting surface of the electric vertical blind according to a date and time; a louver rotation angle computing means 42 for computing the rotation angle of the louver from solar azimuth information from the azimuth information acquisition means 40; and a control means for outputting a control signal for controlling the computed rotation angle of the louver. The louver rotation angle computing means 42 computes the rotation angle of the louver to rotate the louver in a rotating direction coinciding with the rotating direction of the solar azimuth which varies with time, to reverse the louver in an opposite direction to the rotating direction when certain reversing conditions are satisfied, and to rotate the louver again in the rotating direction after reversing it.
