PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a defect of air inclusion in a green tire caused during a tire manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A carcass treatment material 40 is passed through the space between a roll 10 with needles and a roll 20 with grooves both of which are arranged in opposed relationship to bore a large number of small holes in the carcass treatment material 40. The air stagnated around a carcass during the production of a tire is vented by the small holes to suppress the defect of air inclusion in the green tire. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
