<p>PURPOSE:To secure excellent assembling workability and pilferage preventing property by arranging, on the outside of a vehicle, each door hinges for mounting each upper and lower doors on the edges of the car body opening in a way to freely open and close, and installing a side lock mechanism between the lower door and the edge of the car body opening. CONSTITUTION:A back door 1, door main body, consists of a door window panel 2 as an upper door an a lower door. Besides, a door lock device 8 is arranged at a location where the panel 2 and the lower door 3 are opposedly facing. In this case, door hinges 5 which mount the panel 2 on the upper side part of car body opening edge 4 in a way to freely open and close, and door hinges 6 which mount the lower door 3 on the lower side part of car body opening edge 4 in a way to freely open and close are respectively arranged, exposed on the outside of the vehicle to enable to installed them from the outside of the vehicle. Side lock devices 9 consisting of strikers 9 and lock mechanisms 9b which mutually engage and disengage are arranged on the upper both sides of the lower door 3 and on the sides of the car body opening edge 4.</p> |
