PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curable epoxy resin composition excellent in adhesive properties, heat resistance, moisture resistance and other properties, environmentally friendly and available for a sealing material or the like. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curable epoxy resin composition comprises (a) 100 pts. mass of a liquid epoxy resin comprising 50-80 mass% of a naphthalene-type liquid epoxy resin and 50-20 mass% of a non-naphthalene-type liquid epoxy resin, (b) 10-80 pts. mass of an inorganic filler and (c) a photocationic polymerization initiator comprising (1) 2.0-3.3 pts. mass of a combination of bisä4-(diphenylsulfonio)phenyl}sulfide bis(hexafluorophosphate) and diphenyl[(phenylthio)phenyl]sulfonium 1-hexafluorophosphate and (2) 0.3-0.9 pt. mass of (4-methylphenyl)[4-(2-methylpropyl)phenyl]iodonium hexafluorophosphate.
