PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antisense compound, a composition and to provide a method for modulating the expression of Survivin. SOLUTION: The composition comprises the antisense compound targeted to a nucleic acid encoding Survivin, particularly a pharmaceutical composition containing an antisense oligonucleotide and modulation of Survivin expression is provided, and methods for using the compounds and for treatment of diseases associated with the expression of Survivin are provided.
