摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device and an exhaust emission control system making worming up performance of a catalyst good without deteriorating fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: This invented exhaust emission control system 300 is provided with a exhaust emission control catalyst 110 which is reduced (cerium oxide contained therein) by itself when an inside of the exhaust gas passage 30 becomes reducing atmosphere. A control device (ECU) 350 stopping an engine 10 after putting the inside of the exhaust gas passage 30 into the reducing atmosphere at the time of stop of the engine 10 is also provided. A first flow passage stop valve 130 positioned in a downstream of the exhaust emission control catalyst 110 in the exhaust gas passage 30, closing the exhaust gas passage 30 right after stop of the engine 10, and opening the exhaust gas passage 30 at the time of start of the engine 10 is provided. And further an air supply device 120 positioned in an upstream of the exhaust emission control catalyst 110 in the exhaust gas passage 30 and supplying air in the exhaust gas passage 30 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
