PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft copolymer that is obtained in high productivity with reduced amount of fine particles and can give a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent weather resistance, high brightness after direct vapor deposition and vibration welding. SOLUTION: The graft copolymer (A) according to this invention includes polyorganosiloxane (S) and (meth)acrylic ester-based polymer (R) and is obtained by grafting a polymer (T) containing acrylic ester-based monomer units to composite rubber polymer (G) having a swelling degree of 0 < and < 5 in toluene solvent wherein the proportion of the acrylic ester-based monomer units in the polymer (T) is 1 to 40 %mass, when the polymer (T) is calculated as 100 %mass.
