PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in image quality, especially deterioration in skin color reproduction caused by an error in color temperature information. SOLUTION: A means for determining and extracting a white color and a predetermined color from an imaging element output is provided, a correction amount of a first white balance correction means and coefficients of a signal processing means are determined from the determined white color, the determined and extracted predetermined color is subjected to processing by the white balance correction means and the signal processing means, a color determination means for determining the color information of the predetermined color subjected to signal processing is provided, and a correction amount of a second white balance correction means is determined by determination result of the color determination means.
