PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device equipped with a suspension control device and a cornering drag compensation control device, capable of suppressing a drop in the ride comfort of occupants. SOLUTION: The vehicle control device 1 is equipped with the cornering drag compensation controlling means 11 and the suspension controlling means 12, and performs a suspension control with the suspension controlling means 12 during the normal running. The cornering drag compensation controlling means 11 determines whether or not the cornering drag compensation control is to be executed on the basis of the vehicle speed and the turning angle of a steering wheel. If the result from determination signifies that the cornering drag compensation control is not made, the suspension control with the suspension controlling means 12 is continued.
