PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-fuel burner capable of stably forming flame, and capable of fully coping with miniaturization of a boiler. SOLUTION: The multi-fuel burner comprises an oil burner 1 having an oil atomizer 1A on a tip and arranged in a center part of a register 7 of the burner, a swirler 3 arranged on an outer periphery around the tip of the oil burner 1, and a plurality of gas burners 2 and 5 arranged in a broken annular line along the circumferential direction of the swirler 3. The gas burner is separated to a main gas burner 2 and a pilot gas burner 4, the main gas burner 2 is arranged on an outer periphery of the swirler 3, and the pilot gas burner 4 is arranged in such a manner of penetrating the swirler 3.
