摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reformer capable of feeding a raw fuel gas and steam into a catalyst layer after sufficient mixing and capable of suppressing the infiltration of a liquid in steam to the catalyst layer. <P>SOLUTION: In the reformer in which the catalyst layer 10 is formed by filling a catalyst between an outer cylinder 3a and an inner cylinder 3b of a third cylindrical body 3 (reaction tube) and a combustion cylinder 14 is provided at the inside of the inner cylinder 3b and also a heating means 16 is provided at the lower part, a mixer 12 is provided at the upper end part of the inner cylinder 3b. The mixer 12 is provided with a mixing chamber 12d, and an introducing pipe 13 supplying the raw fuel gas and the steam is connected, and also one or more discharge holes 12b are provided, and a wall body 12c is erected at the outer peripheral edge. The catalyst layer 10 is heated to a prescribed reaction temperature by the combustion gas caused by the heating means 16, and the raw fuel gas and the steam supplied from the introducing pipe are sufficiently mixed at the mixer, and the mixed gas is allowed to flow out from the discharge holes 12b and supplied to the catalyst layer 10. When the liquid is contained in the mixed gas, the infiltration of the liquid to the catalyst layer 10 is suppressed by preventing with the wall body 12c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
