PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device decreasing turbulence of airflow of cooling air to increase the volume of the cooling air, and thereby improving the cooling performance of a radiator and reducing drive energy of a cooling fan. SOLUTION: The cooling device of water cooled internal combustion engine E comprises: the radiator 43 having a radiator core 46 in which cooling water radiating heat into the cooling air flows; the cooling fan 51 disposed downstream the radiator core 46 to face the radiator core 46 in a rotation center direction A3; and straightening plates 62 disposed between the radiator core 46 and the cooling fan 51 in the rotation center line direction A3. The straightening plates 62 guide the cooling air just after passing through the radiator core 46 along the rotation center line direction A3 up to just in front of a rotation track 5 of an upstream edges 53u of blades 53 of the cooling fan 51. Each of the straightening plates 62 is disposed so that, in immediate downstream of a downstream end 47d of a heat transmission tube 47 of the radiator core 46, the upstream end 62u is opposite to and is arranged along the downstream edge 47d in the rotation center line direction A3.
