<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery and the nonaqueous electrolyte battery using it hardly shrinking by heat for giving good heat resistance and a good cycle property. <P>SOLUTION: This separator for the nonaqueous electrolyte battery is formed of a microporous film constructed by laminating a polyolefine layer and a heat resistant layer. The heat resistant layer is formed of polyamide, polyimide, or polyamideimide with a melting point 180°C or more and provided with a thickness of 1-4 μm, and air permeability of the separator is 200 seconds or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
